Miriam's Bridal Luncheon

Today's was Phoebe's first social outing and she did fabulous! We made almost the entire drive to Alexandria without crying - I'm sure it's because YiaYia was in the car! We had lunch at the Gaither Family Resources Bookstore in the Latte Cafe. Yum! We got to meet Shawn's mom (we love Shawn!) and some of Miriam's friends. It was Phoebe's first time to meet Aunt Becki, as well as Aunt Bonnie & Miriam so she was on her best behavior!

By the time we got home (which wasn't nearly as quiet as the trip TO Alexandria) she was hungry and pooped. All she needed was Daddy's lap and she zonked out!

We can't wait till the wedding tomorrow! We promised Miriam we'd sit in the last row just in case there's any drama!

Well, here we go - our first attempt at blogging! Our life has become much more eventful since Phoebe arrived, so we decided this would be the best way to keep people updated. She's six weeks old tomorrow - it's hard to believe she's been here that long! Here are a few pictures to see how much she's changed already!

Over the Memorial Day weekend, Nana and Papa, Uncle Mike, Aunt Carrie & Cousin Lucas came for a visit. This is Nana's third visit to Indiana since Phoebe was born - we are SO lucky to have her - she's such a great cook and just LOVES to help out in the early morning so we can get a couple hours of extra sleep!

Yesterday we went to Papouli & YiaYia's house to finally celebrate Papou's 58th birthday. Phoebe got to meet Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Newell for the first time. She got her quilt that matches her nursery that was stitched by hand from Great Grandma - what a precious gift!
