Watch for us on Sunday! I'm excited to check out the new stadium - hopefully it won't rain and they'll have the roof open for us.
I'm officially allowed to continue to wear my jersey and watch football. Up until midway through the fourth quarter today, things weren't looking so good for me OR for the Colts. We'd gone over to some friends of ours to watch the game and the last 5 minutes of the game were listened to in the car since the power went out. We had storms that had really strong wind and so Phoebe and I just sat in the dark since she'd just fallen asleep. There's always got to be drama!
Tonight after dinner we decided to try oatmeal cereal instead of rice. She ate it up like a champ. When she finished I ran upstairs to grab her pjs only to hear screams from Ryan as soon as I got to her room. I'm lucky I got a clear shot of what I saw - I was laughing so hard! Poor Ryan!

Once we got her in her pjs, she was good for a little one on one time with Papou. Let's just say, Phoebe felt the love from her Papouli and her Auntie Kate!
I love this one!
After the late night, we still managed to look bright eyed for church the next morning. I'd been waiting for Phoebe to grow enough so I could get her in this dress before it was too cool to wear it anymore. It's still a little big, but I think fall may happen sooner than we'd planned!

We decided to head to Georgia since we had a long weekend, leaving early from work around 4:15 on Thursday. Phoebe was stellar the entire trip! We stopped an hour each way to get her out of her car seat, feed her, change her and just walk her and Pita around - it gave us a chance to stretch our legs too - we're certainly not as young as we used to be!

Phoebe also got to meet Matt, Alecia and Ella for the first time. Ella is really into babies right now and kept calling Phoebe her baby. She wanted to hold her and it was quite entertaining. Ella did give us a little glimpse of what is in our future two years down the road...it's amazing how loud those little people can get!

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is a quiet voice at the end of the day that says, I will try again tomorrow." --Mary Ann Radmacher
The purpose of Christianity is not to avoid difficulty, but to produce a character adequate to meet it when it comes. It does not make life easy; rather it tries to make us great enough for life. --James L. Christensen
We must stop regarding unpleasant or unexpected things as interruptions of real life. The truth is that interruptions are real life. --C.S. Lewis
