Last week started off very uneventful. Maverick is EVERYWHERE these days, thanks to Phoebe's encouragement!
We bought some Gerber cheese puffs to give Maverick a little variety. Phoebe saw them, promptly grabbed them and said, "My favorite!"
Thursday around noon I got a call from day care saying Maverick had a fever of 102.5. We were able to get in to our pediatric practice for a 6:15 appointment. He was diagnosed with bronchiolitis and tested positive for the flu! So, we purchased a breathing machine and headed to the pharmacy to pick up Tamiflu and Albuterol. Mav was not a fan of the breathing treatments once we got home so we've been pretty lax about giving them to him. However, his breathing and cough have improved drastically - we attempted to give him a few while sleeping!
Other than a very snotty nose, not eating as much and napping more, you never would have guessed he was sick.
Phoebe and I made rice krispy treats on Saturday. This girl definitely has a sweet tooth like her daddy!
Maverick continued to work on his crawling skills. He loves to watch Brutus and climb up the crate.
Sunday was another lazy day. Maverick threw up twice Saturday morning but we were told it was most likely the Tamiflu so we broke up his dosage into two smaller doses an hour apart and he bounced right back. He did prefer to nap ON people while he was under the weather. Sunday afternoon, we decided to venture out and run a few errands since we'd been fever free for over 24 hours however around 7:00 he felt warm and was 100.6 so...we stayed home Monday, too.
We were all going a bit stir crazy by then and excited about going back to work Tuesday. However, 10:30 Monday night, Phoebe puked four times in less than 30 minutes so we stayed home Tuesday as well. She woke up feeling great but we eased back in with Gatorade and a bazillion crackers and applesauce.
We played some basketball.
Jumped around on our newly laundered chair - I think I've probably done 20 loads of laundry in the last 5 days!
Happy boy!
Showing off her self-styled hair do.
Playing with the workbench.
I attempted to make a heart pancake for dinner since I'm pretty much a pushover and she'd been sick the night before. However, it was a bit too well done for her tastes and we settled on a heart-shaped sandwich instead.
Daddy got his girls flowers and donuts. To say we spent our Valentine's Day low-key is an understatement - we were just relieved to finally have everyone on the mend!
However, this was Maverick at 11:00 last night.
And then at 11:30. I think the sleeping in the last five mornings has changed his internal clock a bit so we're going to have to adjust back to a more scheduled routine now that we're all healthy.

He's moving! Sorry you the kiddos have been sick. No, fun. Is everyone better today?
Hope has that same purple butterfly set. It's one of her favorites right now.
