Saturday morning we headed over to Ohio to see our dear, dear friends, the Lee's. And although their little guy was away, our kiddos thoroughly enjoyed playing with all of his toys!
The weather didn't really cooperate so we spent most of our time indoors but did escape to get some frozen yogurt before we said our good-byes.
I promised the kiddos a swim in the hotel pool but first we had to make a pit stop at Ikea. No pictures were taken as we were serious about our shopping. And then no pictures were taken at the pool for obvious reasons! After surviving a rainy night in the hotel, we hit Jungle Jim's for an international grocery experience.
I'm not sure Maverick understood what was going on but he insisted we take his picture!
We made sure to pick up a few goodies in the Greek section and are now fully stocked for winter!
After surviving the world's largest grocery, we headed to Newport, Kentucky to visit their aquarium.
Phoebe enjoyed petting the starfish and horseshoe crabs while Maverick watched nearby.
