Weekend with Cousin Lucas

I can't believe how time just flies by when you add a baby to the picture! Life seems to be just whirring by. Ryan got to make the annual trek down to Terre Haute on Friday to celebrate the first day of Colts' training camp at Rose Hulman. He got autographs from Bob Sanders, Dallas Clark and Tony Dungy, just to name a few, so it was a productive day! But because he was away, we spent a lot of time with YiaYia and Auntie Kate.

Then we found out that our nephew Lucas was in town visiting grandparents and were so excited that Phoebe was going to get some one-on-one time with her only cousin. We played putt putt, went out to eat and ran a few errands. We ran home for a quick nap and Phoebe ended up sleeping three hours straight - she couldn't take her eyes off Lucas. She kept talking to him and smiling at him. I think Lucas liked all the attention she was giving him!

Of course we had to make time for a little video game action. I believe it was a lot of ATV racing where Ryan showed off stunts "no one had ever seen before!" (trust me, you had to be there) and then an Indiana Jones game that involved Legos that kept them up till midnight on Sunday! Needless to say, Ryan was late to work and still left before Lucas woke up!
