Spring Saturday

Last Saturday, while Ryan enjoyed an early Father's day "gift" of a day on the river kayaking and fishing with some buddies, I kept the kids busy.

We started out at the Noblesville Farmers' Market.  It wasn't very big but certainly managed to satisfy a sweet tooth or two with stops at Wicked Suga and Rosie's Bakery.  The kids were happy because of ALL the dogs people were walking.  AND the giant angora bunny (in the lady's lap that she's making yarn from) we got to meet.

Next on our list was a stop at Forest Park.  Granted, it was before 10:00 on a Saturday morning, there were still quite a few people already on the playground.  The kiddos happily burned off their cookies.

Our children gravitate toward sand like it's their home away from home.

Being silly.

Ragamuffin.

Next on our list was a stop at Spencer's Strawberry Farm.

It's only fun for so long when you're trying to keep two kids in between the lines but we managed to pick 5 pounds of bright red berries!

Taking a quick rest before heading home for some lunch.

Once I came to the realization that no naps would be had that day, we headed to the library where they apparently had sugar left to burn!

This one easily gets constipated and sometimes really struggles with pooping (it may have something to with the inordinate amount of cheese and bananas this one likes to eat, I don't know).  Whether easy or hard, he likes to hide when doing his business.  Luckily we picked a very large book to hide behind...
