I had a work event earlier in the month and on our way back, we stopped to take a quick picture on the Circle to celebrate the Big Ten.
Last week we had some unusually warm days and the kids would head outside as soon as we got home. The last warm day we had there was a joint effort to construct a leprechaun trap just in time for St. Patrick's Day! Love how many kids are in our neighborhood and love how creative they can be together!
We're VERY grateful for the sunshine we've been getting lately. Unfortunately, Maverick has lost his Thomas the Train sunglasses and favors mine when it gets too bright! Let's not even talk about the fact that he's in a car seat with flowers still...
This past weekend, Nana and Papa came to Indy to celebrate Bailey's 5th birthday.
We had a great time hanging out together!
Even attempted a sleepover. I'll give you one guess as to whether or not it was successful...
Despite a lack of sleep, we were determined to head outside on Saturday and enjoy the warmer weather with some time at one of our favorite parks.
(Yes, we know he desperately needs a haircut. It gets remedied later in the weekend...) However, he's still pretty darn cute, isn't he!?
My men found their walking sticks early on in the hike. Good thing too, as there was quite a bit of navigating around the mud!
After everyone said good-bye early Sunday morning, we headed to church and then had lunch out with some friends. And although I think both kiddos would have eventually fallen asleep if we'd decided to nap, we opted for some much needed haircuts instead!
