Last week, we went to Phoebe's kindergarten graduation and amazingly had NO tears. Hard to believe we now have first grader in our household!
They sang a number of songs before receiving their diplomas. Phoebe wasn't a fan of looking in our direction for a good picture but at least she was smiling!
Here she is her last morning at the bus stop - she takes after her daddy in this arena -
she is simply NOT a morning person!
She was, however, happy to be a bus rider on the last day of school!
All the kindergartners got a class t-shirt.
Each child did a self-portrait that was silk-screened on the back of their shirts.
School's out and that means celebrating with some ice cream!
Saturday while out and about, Maverick insisted his bear wanted to say, "Cheese!"
We had a nice lunch at a local place and Maverick was in an exceptionally good mood and again, wanted to say "cheese!"
This is to capture our little girl's freckles. At brunch after church on Sunday, Phoebe didn't believe me when I told her she had some - you just have to look closely. Love this face to pieces!
Sunday afternoon, we had a birthday party at Monkey Joe's. I'm not sure which of our children had more fun but they both had a blast!
Here's Phoebe with the birthday girl, Hayden, who happened to fracture her wrist the day before by falling off a trampoline. The cast was to get put on the next day - what a way to start summer break!
Ryan has an upcoming fishing trip and in need of a new hat. Phoebe was trying to help him be more decisive.
Although they walked out empty-handed, she did get in a "Yee-haw!" or two!
