Happy 1/2 Birthday to our naked little jaybird! Hard to believe we've hit the 18-month mark with this big boy! He measured in at 33 inches and 24 solid pounds at his appointment on Friday, putting him at 75% in height and 25% in weight - it all evens out anyhow!
After work on Friday the kids got to go to YiaYia and Papou's for the weekend so Ryan & I could celebrate our 8th anniversary kid-free. We got to run a bazillion errands looking at appliances and home decor without trudging kids in and out of car seats at every stop. It was heaven.
We ran by the house to check its progress. We've seen quite a few strides in the house recently and it's becoming more and more of a reality.
Friday night we headed out with some friends and ate too much and stayed out too late but had a great time catching up. We definitely took advantage of eating out and embraced requesting a table for two.
Enjoying our time alone didn't stop us from racing up to the front door of YiaYia and Papou's Sunday afternoon to pick up our little ones. Mav would prefer the driver's seat but he's got a few more months facing backwards...
Phoebe was a little sad to leave YiaYia so Daddy did a craft in the oven with her when we got home. Now she has a sun catcher that says "Princess" she can hang in her very own window when we move!
My amazing husband went out of his way to make sure I had roses on our anniversary, too. I'm beyond blessed to have him as my best friend, partner in parenting and constant companion. God knew what He was doing all those years ago...Happy Anniversary, Honey!
