Bouncing & Digging

We've had some lovely weather in between the cold and rain that just won't seem to disappear. On the warm days, we spend our time outside as much as possible.

We got out this beast to mow what little grass we have before the neighborhood garage sale last weekend.  Maverick had a blast riding around with Daddy!

YiaYia got rid of some of her baby items, including this Bumbo.  We haven't quite decided we're done growing babies (although we're about 98% sure) so we held on to a lot of our baby gear.  Good thing since Phoebe and Maverick were thrilled to revisit all of the old baby things we'd been storing in the basement!

Hard to believe this one is heading to Kindergarten in the fall.  We had the opportunity to go to her elementary school on Thursday night.  Once we were all assembled, they asked all the to-be kindergartners to leave and they got a tour of the school, the bus and actually took a bus ride around the parking lot.  Our big girl got up with barely a smidge of hesitation and left with about 40 other 5-year olds that she didn't know.  Just about lost it right then and there.  I have a feeling mid-August is going to be a bit rough for this mama!

Maverick is already eyeing things he wants to get to fill the spaces we just created!

Sunday after church, we headed to a birthday party for one of Phoebe's friends.  She went non-stop so the pictures of her are a bit blurry - but no doubt about it, she had a great time!

This one went at a bit slower pace so you can actually see the joy on his face!

Most of the time...

With all the rain we've had (and too little grass) we were growing little streams in our backyard and our dirt was washing away.  They came out on Monday to fill the little ditches in our backyard and seeded our lawn so Ryan extended our gutters to go underground.  The kids had a blast discovering all the worms that were hiding in the mud!

If you get close to this one, she'll show off her two VERY wiggly bottom teeth.  I foresee a visit from the tooth fairy in the very near future!

We're gearing up for another couple of busy weekends with birthdays, KinderDance recitals, Crouching Tigers promotions and Mother's Day - thankfully Memorial Day is right around the corner and we'll be able to take a breath!
