Spring has Sprung!

This one finally got to eat the mammoth sucker from his Christmas stocking.  And yes, more ended up ON him than in his mouth!  But he's one happy little boy!

Phoebe recently went to a friend's birthday party and was the only girl there.  She had a fabulous time bowling, playing laser tag and winning a puppy in the arcade.

Maverick and Ryan rented their own lane to play while Phoebe partied and then Maverick joined in the festivities at the arcade as well.  They both want to come back for their own party!

We had a few nice weather days and took advantage of getting outside.  That of course means getting to a playground as fast as possible.

Phoebe had our neighbors sign up for a "Pie Class."  It was a very impromptu get together so we got out some oreos to make a crust and chocolate pudding and luckily, we had some cool whip to top their masterpieces off.

They had a blast getting creative in the kitchen together!

We had some friends in town last weekend and met up at Conner Prairie for the re-opening of their outdoor park for the season.  We were very grateful for all the indoor activities as it felt like winter this weekend!

Sid the Science Kid was there to kick off their balloon launch as well.

Phoebe was most excited about seeing her baby goat from last year.  Luckily there were plenty of babies to take its place!

Being silly in our coats in the spring.  That's a very hard concept for a first grader to grasp.  "It's Spring so it should be WARM."  I agree, Phoebe...I agree.

Sunday after church, we met up with Auntie Kate for lunch.  Maverick was SO excited!

After a quick rain shower, we headed over to the annual neighborhood egg hunt.  At least the Easter Bunny was warm this year!  Brrrrr!

After consuming some candy, it was time to burn off the sugar and warm up with Auntie!  She's such a good sport!  We can't wait to celebrate all our April birthdays next month!
