Winter Catch-Up

Hallelujah Spring is around the corner!  Not sure how much more of this cold stuff we can handle!  However, it is NOT slowing us down!  We celebrated grandpa's birthday in February.  Went to church with them in Anderson and then out to Cracker Barrel.

What a great man to celebrate!

The following weekend, Nana and Papa came up to celebrate Bailey's birthday.  Maverick was SO excited for Papa to arrive.  There was a lot of Hulk hands!

Saturday evening we were in Kokomo to party.  The kids burned ALL their energy!

They left bright and early Sunday morning after we got about six inches of snow!  Even church was cancelled that morning.  The following weekend, Auntie came to our house to celebrate a couple more birthdays.  Maverick loved her TMNT shirt, too!

We finally got some warmer weather and sunshine so we headed downtown to the canal.

We made a brief pit stop at the State Museum.

Next time we'll bring duck food as they followed us everywhere and were apparently starving!

After our stroll, we headed towards Fountain Square for some duck pin bowling.  We'd tried "real" bowling with bumpers last year but still found the balls to be a bit heavy for our kiddos little hands.

This worked much better for everyone involved!

Check out that fine form!

We just signed this big girl for recreational soccer!  She's already picked out pink cleats and pink shin guards!  She's so very excited!

Bowling was followed by Greek food at Santorini's.  While waiting to place our order, Maverick tried out his photography skills with my phone.  The monkey seems to go everywhere with us these days...

Sunday after church and a ridiculous time change, we hosted lunch at our house. Our kids suffered through the meal and couldn't wait to help open presents!

The Hulk hands made another appearance during the celebration.  Grandpas are great sports about this little obsession of Maverick's!

Doesn't this uncle look SO much older this year?  Hard to believe we're 35 and 37 but oh-so-glad to have another year to celebrate!  Here's to health, happiness and sunshine!
