Happy Father's Day! It was so fun to wish Ryan one for the first time - he got his Father's Day gifts early since he had a big fishing trip planned at the end of May - a little shopping spree to Gander Mountain. I told him he should try and get out this Saturday to fish, it's only in the 70s and low 80s this week - ideal weather for Ryan to go fishing in! He hasn't had as many opportunities to fish since my pregnancy and Phoebe's arrival so hopefully he'll get to catch up now that we're getting a small handle on this parenting thing...

We dedicated Phoebe at church on Sunday. It was so meaningful to hear the congregation commit to raising our little girl to know the Lord and for Ryan and I to make the promise to introduce her to Jesus. Nana flew in from Georgia and Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Newell drove down from Anderson. YiaYia led the congregation in the charge but stepped down to be with the family when Pastor Steve prayed for us and Barb Thorp charged us - we didn't want any tears on Phoebe's big day!

After church we headed out to lunch to celebrate the dads in our lives. It was a nice, long lunch so we had a relaxing time catching up with everyone. As you can tell, it'd been an exhausting day for Phoebe!
