Phoebe decided she wanted to color with glitter glue so he obliged.
Then took over and showed off his skills (although he can't seem to stay in the lines, either...).

Fun was had by all till Coco got ahold of not one but TWO glitter glue tubes and the carpets had to be cleaned yet again! He was back on the road near bedtime and although his eyes are closed, they're both smiling - big, evidence of the good time they had together.

Friday, Phoebe and I headed to the Children's Museum since it'd been about a month and she'd been asking every morning to go this week. That and the airport (go figure!). Here she is dishing up some ice cream in the ice cream shop.

And after changing Ken's "diaper" multiple times at the Barbie exhibit, she went to answer the phones.

And then she spent about 3 minutes in the racecar. It was the least crowded we'd ever seen the museum so it was sort of nice to not be rushed from one thing to the next. We didn't even have to wait in line to ride the carousel (multiple times!).

Saturday morning I had a baby shower for a co-worker so Ryan took Phoebe to the airport. It was one of his favorite things to do as a kid and since she'd been asking about going the last few days, he obliged. Afterwards, they met me downtown and we hit the canal. It was overcast and a lovely 80 degrees. The canal has a million fountains so between the fish in the canal and throwing pennies in the fountains, she had a great time.

If it hadn't been near her naptime, we would have rented a bike - she pointed out every bike and paddleboat along the canal. We opted to get out all her energy with races up and down the canal instead.

Seeing these beauties was such a relief because it meant public restrooms were near! While Phoebe checked out the elephants and played in the rocks, I ran into the State Museum. Mom and Dad just went last weekend to check out the Lincoln exhibit before it ended and were quite impressed.
