It's been fairly uneventful at our house lately which has been a nice change of pace. Lots of dance parties with Phoebe - she now knows how to do the Sprinkler courtesy of Ryan.

Phoebe had another birthday party this weekend. This one was at the Simply Sweet Shoppe and we (Ryan and I) had high expectations. There was lots of coloring.
Limbo and almost-four-year olds doesn't quite compute but everyone had a good time!
A rousing game of Duck, Duck, Goose!
10 little girls all with a sweet tooth! We had a scavenger hunt throughout the store - the only candy we left with was a Snow White pez dispenser, a small tube of Sixlets and a Pixie stick. Ryan said he couldn't understand how they were still in business...but that's coming from a man who has a very discerning sweet tooth!
Really all they needed were balloons and they were happy.
This little guy is still working on his crawl.
And he gets frustrated when he can't quite get to where he wants to go!
We finally caved and bought him a jumper. Took his exersaucer to YiaYia and Papou's so we'd have some room to jump! Surely we'll get our money's worth before he hits the 25 pound weight limit!
Yesterday, day care was closed for the holiday so we took it easy in the morning. However, after about five loads of laundry and only a thirty minute nap for Maverick, I decided we needed to get out! So we headed to Conner Prairie and took advantage of their free admission. I don't think I'd been since college -they've added a lot of kid-friendly spaces which Phoebe couldn't get enough of.
She got an introduction to Lincoln Logs!
Picked some apples.
Sold some apples (then some kid came up to her and took all the "money" out of her cash register which she handled all in stride).
Milked the cow.
Maverick continued to work on his crawl.
Since we had some freak warm front come through, we decided to trudge through the mud and see what was outdoors. They still had sheep, pigs and a cow out at the farm.
We hit the Indian Camp. Phoebe wasn't nearly as interested and
just wanted to go back inside and play.
We had to make a stop at the Golden Eagle, the Zimmerman's Inn that I had to write a story about for 4th Grade Indiana history in elementary school. She wasn't nearly as excited as I was although you can't tell from this picture!
This one was getting tired but was a real trooper.
We had to stop and take a picture of some Civil War paraphernalia for Granddaddy!
Then we headed back to the Discovery Zone and spent a lot of time at the dollhouse.
When it was time to leave she wanted to play dress up.
Then pour some tea. We've got an expert procrastinator on our hands!
Maverick took a nap on the way home and didn't wake up til 7:00 which explains why he was still up at 10:30...he's got one of his upper teeth fully through the gum so we're just waiting for the other one to make its appearance.

That looks like a fun day! Doug and I were just saying we needed to go to Connor Prairie. The kids are getting to fun ages to go.
Maverick is getting so big. The jumping pictures is classic! Love it.
Phoebe really does look grown up with that new haircut. And the little stud is still chunky, which I love! Man, I miss those kiddos (you and Ry of course too)! LOVE YOU!
