Look who's nine months old already!
Maverick has not slept through the night since we were in Princeton so I took him to the pediatrician yesterday afternoon to make sure he didn't have an ear infection. Turns out he's perfectly healthy - the doctor says he's just playing with us and I should definitely not feed him in the middle of the night should he wake up. Glad to know it wasn't an infection but bummed there was no excuse for the 3:00 wake up call the last six nights... He suggested trying ibuprofen before bed as he may be teething. We tried it last night and although he still woke up just after 3, he eventually fell back asleep on his own. Hopefully we're on the right track!
He doesn't sit still long at all!
While at the doctor's office they squeezed in our 9-month well-visit that was supposed to be on Friday. He weighed in at 19 pounds, 11 oz. (40th %) and 28 inches (40th %).
Phoebe wanted to have her picture taken with Maverick - I have a feeling she'll get passed in height and weight by her little brother sooner than later.
